Donation Policy
At Khushi Foundation, we are committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and accountability in our donation process. This Donation Policy explains how donations are accepted, processed, utilized, and acknowledged. It serves to inform our donors, well-wishers, and the public about our values and procedures regarding financial contributions.
1. Purpose of Donations
Donations collected by the Trust are used solely to support charitable initiatives aligned with our objectives, which include:
- Providing educational support to underprivileged children.
- Supporting healthcare and medical aid initiatives.
- Assisting families of deceased or distressed individuals in need.
- Conducting social awareness and welfare programs.
- Running scholarship and memorial activities in the name of Late Shri Khushi Foundation.
2. Modes of Accepting Donations
We accept donations through the following channels:
- Online Payment Gateway (Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI)
- Bank Transfer (NEFT/IMPS/RTGS)
- UPI Payment (Google Pay, PhonePe, etc.)
- Cash or Cheque Donations (subject to receipt issuance)
- Recurring Donations (Monthly/Quarterly/Annually via standing instruction)
All transactions are processed securely, and a receipt is issued for every donation.
3. Donation Receipt & 80G Tax Exemption
- Donors receive an official receipt via email or printed format, typically within 3–7 working days.
- Donations to Khushi Foundation are eligible for tax exemption under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
- To receive a valid 80G certificate, donors must provide:
- Full name
- PAN number
- Email ID
- Postal address
4. Donor Information and Privacy
- We collect only necessary personal details to process donations and issue receipts.
- Donor information is kept confidential and is never sold or misused.

5. Refund and Cancellation
- Donations made are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- In case of accidental duplicate payments or technical errors, donors may request a refund within 7 days of the transaction. (See: Refund Policy)
6. Donor Rights
As a valued donor, you have the right to:
- Know how your donation is being used.
- Receive timely receipts and acknowledgement.
- Ask questions and receive honest answers.
- Remain anonymous if preferred.
- Update or correct your personal data with us.
7. Frequency of Giving
We welcome:
- One-time Donations
- Monthly Contributions
- Memorial Donations (in memory of a loved one)
- Corporate or CSR Donations
- In-kind Contributions (books, school supplies, clothes, etc.)

8. Legal Compliance
- All donations are accepted in accordance with Indian laws and financial regulations.
- Foreign donations are currently not accepted, unless processed through an FCRA-registered channel (if applicable in future).
